More Verbal Gems from SuperK

Well, she's a Quotable Quotes machine, crankin' em out even faster than we can write them down or even try to recall them a couple hours later. So, here goes!

Today, on our way to lunch, it was windier than HECK! We were freezing, even going the 40 yards from car to Panera. On our way, we encountered a group of high-school-aged girls, running toward us to duck out of the wind. K said, "When I was a little girl, I used to run like that, too!"

Yesterday, we went to the birthday party of K's best young friend Max. Wisely, his parents bought him a little teeter totter - a sure-fire gift that he and K could both enjoy together and not fight over. The kids LOVED it and got a huge kick of it. While riding, K exclaimed, "Wow! This is just like a trampoline or something!!" Hah!

K's fond of randomly assigning us Princess names, so that we can converse in alternate personas. It usually goes something like this:
K: "What are you doing, Belle?"
Us: "I don't know, Ariel. What are you doing?"
K: "I'm playing with Play-Doh, Mulan! How do you like it, Pocahontas?"
Us: "That's neat, Sleeping Beauty!"
K: "Thanks, Snow White!"

We also get to have a little dialog at tooth brushing time that include the bear on her tooth brush. When she thinks she's finished the job on her own, we ask, "Did you get the tops?" She'll say, "I don't know, Bear. Did we get the tops, bear?" Then we help her brush, and then she'll ask, "Did we get the backs, Bear?"

She's also fond of asking me or Brien what we're discussing by saying: "What are you talking about, kids?"

She will tell people she's talking to on the phone, "And this is my Daddy, Brien. And this is my Mommy, Heather. And this is my dog, Harvey."
