And there are others who are proud of her as well... You can see, at left, our "downstairs potty" setup. "Boingy Boy" always hangs from the toilet paper holder, and, these days, Malificent and Ursula keep watch over the proceedings.
I am not sure if they offer a threat or encouragement... K often asks me "What is Malificent saying?" I am torn between telling her that she's cheering her on and saying that Malificent is sad that K's foiled her evil plans again by being such a good potty girl.
I can do the Ursula voice pretty well, so I usually try to come up with a song, to the tune of "Poor, Unfortunate Souls" that expresses my take on the situation at hand. Sometimes, I surprise myself with extemporaneous rhyming ability. Most of the time, though, I get about half way through an improvised verse and then get stumped and change the subject.
Nevertheless, K likes to see her favorite villians. Maybe if we had Cruella DeVille, Jafar, and a couple Wicked Stepmothers, we'd already be DONE with potty training?
