Yesterday, K discovered a book that had fallen behind one of her toyboxes. It was a Pooh Christmas book with buttons you can press to play sounds and music that accompany the story.
Unfortunately, the batteries were dead, much to her chagrin. "But I want to play it," she said. Brien told her that it needed new batteries and we didn't have any of the appropriate type.
She said, "What kind of batteries does it need, Daddy?" B looked at the exterior of the battery case and attempted to fake it. "It says it needs A35s, and we don't have any of those." Indignant, K said, "Daddy! Don't just make something UP! Open it and see what kind it takes!"
Man, you just can't get ANYTHING past her! So, why would you try?
